Howdy!

I am Jay Garrett, a loan officer and attorney, with hundreds of real estate trials under my belt.  Leading with a servant’s heart, I have made the mortgage business my sole focus as it honors my purpose in serving others.  Recognizing and pursuing this vision is what makes me an asset to my clients. My goal is to provide you such kind and helpful service that when you walk away from your closing, you will want to send friends and family my way.

I am an 8th generation Texan with ancestors who fought in the Texas Revolution as citizens of the Republic of Texas. I moved from East Texas to Austin in 1999 and consider it to be the greatest city in the greatest state!

Leveraging video with many of my friends and clients, I engage on Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat and FaceBook.  This allows us to have great interactions and keep up to date with the latest mortgage questions without having to travel to the same location. Connect with me on your preferred platform!

I'm a 1992 graduate of Texas A&M University and I earned a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 1995. My boys and I enjoy spending time riding our dirt bikes and Jeeps. To get my exercise and Vitamin D, I like trail-running the many green belts around central Texas.
